Wissam is an accomplished mediator, applying an interest-based mediation approach to dispute resolution. By working with individuals and their legal representation, Wissam explores all possible options for durable solutions.

Wissam is also a strong believer in the 4C Approach to resolving disputes – Creativity, Competence, Confidence and Compassion. Applying these principles, Wissam works hard to ensure that no option for resolution is left unexplored in every mediation in which he is involved.

A highly-regarded member of the Windsor legal community, Wissam is an internationally recognized legal scholar and a tenured Associate Professor at Windsor Law. For almost 15 years, he has been a respected member of Windsor Law, as a teacher, academic and administrative leader. One of the world’s most highly-accomplished legal clinicians, Wissam founded and launched internationally renowned experiential training programs across North America and Europe and has won numerous teaching and faculty achievement awards.

He is also an expert in intellectual property law, administrative law and contract law, having taught and written extensively on these topics and his work in these areas being influential in Canada, the US and Europe.
